Who handles your information
Garuda Player is the brand. Data controller: EL WARDY LLC, 127 N Higgins Ave Ste 307D, Missoula, MT 59802-4486, United States. Contact garudaplr@gmail.com for privacy requests.
Information we use
We store device codes, hashed device identifiers and verification values, trial and activation dates, activation status and related audit records. For reseller accounts we store usernames, names, hashed passwords, credit balances, customer device labels, activation records and credit ledger entries. We store payment references, PayPal order and capture identifiers, amounts, currency and payment status. For Google Play purchases, we process product identifiers, purchase verification tokens and hashed token records, Google order references, purchase status, and the device identifier associated with activation. We use Google Play Developer APIs to verify completed purchases and handle acknowledgement, activation and relevant refunds. Google manages the payment method; we do not receive full card numbers from Google. Support enquiries and legacy enquiries may contain the contact details and messages you supplied. Website hosting and security services may process IP addresses and access logs.
Playlist addresses and provider credentials are stored by the player on your device; the website activation and credit database does not store those playlist credentials. When you play media, the player connects to your chosen media provider, which can receive your network address and account information. Avoid sending playlist passwords to support.
Why we process information
We use information to provide trials and activations, operate reseller accounts, verify payments, maintain credit records, provide support and prevent fraud or abuse. Where applicable, our bases are performance of your contract, legal recordkeeping duties and legitimate interests in service security and resolving disputes. Optional analytics relies on consent.
Cookies and analytics
Essential session cookies support login, checkout and request security. Your analytics preference is stored locally in your browser. Google Analytics starts only if you allow analytics; you may reject it or change your choice using cookie settings. Analytics measures website use, with advertising storage and personalization disabled. Analytics page addresses exclude query strings and fragments. We do not send entered form values through our analytics implementation. Google and hosting providers may process information under their own privacy terms.
Payments and recipients
Google Play processes in-app purchases under Google’s privacy policy and payment terms. Purchase verification information is exchanged between our server and Google. PayPal processes website payments under its own privacy policy. We receive payment verification information, not full card numbers. Namecheap hosting, Google Analytics when allowed, and communication services you choose may process information needed for their services. We may disclose relevant records when legally required or to resolve payment disputes. We do not sell your personal information. Our hosting, analytics and payment service providers may process information outside your country. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, those requirements apply. Retention and security
We keep records for as long as needed to maintain accounts and activations, comply with applicable bookkeeping duties, and resolve disputes. Expiry alone does not automatically delete all records. We use password hashing, access controls and private server configuration for secrets. No system can guarantee absolute security. Contact us for information about the retention period applicable to a particular record.
Your choices and rights
Contact support to request access, correction, account closure or deletion. Where applicable, you may also request restriction or portability, object to processing, withdraw analytics consent and complain to the relevant supervisory authority. Some records may need to be retained for legal duties or disputes. We may request proportionate verification of your identity; do not email passwords or payment card details. Services are intended for people able to enter a purchase contract; a parent or guardian should contact us about a child's information.
Request deletion of Garuda Player data
Email garudaplr@gmail.com with the subject “Garuda Player data deletion” and the device code shown in the app. Tell us which data you want deleted. We may ask for proportionate proof of ownership before processing the request. Never send passwords, payment card details or media-source credentials.
You can request deletion of support messages and associated contact details, and device-identification or activation records that are no longer needed. Removing activation records may prevent restoration or continued use of the associated license; we will explain this before processing such a request. Payment, fraud-prevention and dispute records may be retained where required by applicable law or an unresolved dispute. We will explain which records must remain and the applicable retention period in our reply. No fixed automatic deletion period is promised.
Saved playlists, favorites and playback settings stay on your device. Remove playlists in the player settings or clear the app’s local data to erase them locally. For information held by your chosen media-source provider or Google Play, contact that service directly.
Changes
We will show an updated date when this policy changes. Material changes will be communicated where required.
